Attach a document
I would like to attach an excel catalogue to my listing to show all of the albums we are selling, has anyone done this before and can advise how I can do this please?

It's not possible to add documents or pdfs or other file attachments to listings.
You could post a link to the file stored on an external website though like google docs, although you need to ensure the file repository does not contain any way for prospective buyers to contact you or other links, a bit like you have to do when adding a video to a listing.

Im not sure if its allowed or would be suitable, but you could take a photo of the excel pages and load them as photos.

No AJ, photo listing policy prohibits that.

It seems a bit unusual that you could put a link to a list of other items, but not a photo of those other items?
Where does it state you cant in that policy?

TM don't say you CAN use a link to another file, but they don't say you can't, and many people do it like this. If you comply with the video listing no contact details part, you are unlikely to have any problems if people report you for it. The section NO "text conveying messages (e.g. low stock availability or other marketing)." probably covers it, and also NO Watermarks/logos larger than 5% of image area, or less than 50% transparency. You could argue that a photo showing a full page of text is not a logo though although that statement is really aimed at text of any kind. They used to give examples like this in their older photo policy, so maybe they have changed and are not as strict now.

I would have expected the Listing would fall into the MQL / MVL section - Perhaps the OP should get permission from TradeMe to run the Link?
Happy New Year Everyone! 😊
