Incorrect PING Refund

Hi
I brought an item on trade to pick up and paid by ping. The seller refunded the payment because "I hope you could give me $50 cash when you collect."
Can the seller reverse the refund?

If you are not comfortable or in a position to pay by Cash on Pick up you can request your Seller to Relist the item with the Ping payment option for you to re-select. - This has the feel of an attempt to avoid paying fees & you are not covered by the Buyer Protection under Cash payments. Your Seller should have confirmed the payment method prior to refunding you in the first instance. TM do note accounts which repetitively Refund Buyers in full and apply consequences where necessary However you can still report this behaviour to staff direct as well. - Cheers.

Thanks for the info S. I did suggest that and that is what they have done. I dont think they are trying to avoid the fees, I think they just wanted the cash. But yes they should have asked first
