    Hi, im genuinely wondering if I am in the wrong or not. I sold an item on Wednesday 7th, the buyer did not pay or send their address. I usually wait 3 business days for a buyer to pay/give delivery address. 3 Business days from Wednesday would've been today (Monday) Today I would've sent a email to confirm with the buyer if they still wanted to proceed with the trade or not. But instead I get a negative feedback at 10pm Sunday 11 August saying the buyer is unhappy with my lack of communication.     I very rarely leave bad feedback even if a sale falls through but sometimes when I have a particularly bad experience I do leave a red face. The reason I rarely leave bad feedback is because I dont want to deal with getting retaliatory feedback. Someone who has a feedback score of 57% bought 13 items from me and I emailed them three times over 2+ weeks, no response. Because this person already had so many red face feedbacks from other sellers saying this buyer buys stuff and doesn't follow through, and the fact it was 13 items which is a pain to go through each one to request a success fee ...

    After I put “I don’t do bundle deals or accept offers” in my bio I have significantly decreased the amount of low ball offers I get. But today I got one so ridiculous I wasn’t sure if the person was serious or not. They wanted to buy four items from me and offered me $10 each + wanted free shipping… the items in question are three $39 items + one $45 item. So they were basically asking if they could buy $162 worth of items for $40. My profit margin is 20% on the majority of my items.. so it’s quite insulting getting offers like this.     Thanks S and Simom, luckily the buyer was very understanding and we were able to sort it out. Someone was able to go to the address and collect the parcel.

    a buyer bought 2 items from me and a different address was sent for each of the two items which I didn't realise at the time. The buyer emailed me and asked if I would combine postage and added the address below in their email. Normally when someone adds an address to send the items to in their email I will quickly check on trade me to see if the address matches, if it doesn't I add a note next to the listing to remind myself that when I book the courier pick up to change the address. Now unfortunately I had opened the listing where the address was in fact the same as the one they mentioned...

    I was in a bidding war with two people this evening. I ended up winning the auction. No issue with the seller at all, they’re someone I’ve bought from many times before.. instead it was one of the other bidders who spammed such rude comments on my own auctions Q and A section. All because I (and one other person) was bidding against them. What makes it worse is I recognised their username, I’ve traded with them before a few months ago (trade went fine.)     I dont understand why some people get upset over someone bidding on an auction with the intent to resell the goods. Thats what I do, its my full time living to sell on trade me using this method. I buy items in bulk, clean them, (many times the arrives arrive in bad condition, yuck!) Research how much each individual item is worth, take photos and list on trade me. I do this 8 hours a day, every day as im a disabled woman who has to work from home. I recently came across another resellers trade me page - one of their feedbacks was from a seller who was angry that the buyer bought the goods ...

    Hi I sold an item on November 5th. On Tuesday 8th November I email the buyer to ask when payment will be made, they email back and say they have just sent the payment and their delivery address. I say thank you and post the item the same day - trusting the buyer made payment. I always try to get items posted ASAP, and have posted items before the money has shown in my account, never had an issue as most people are honest. I check my bank account that evening - no money.     So I have 100% positive feedback (approx 2900 feedbacks altogether) and I’m very proud of this. I work very hard to reply to emails super fast and ship items quickly. However last week I received my first red face with no communication from the buyer, just stating “item broke”. I talked to the buyer and luckily they took the feedback down after we realised it was in error. Today I received a blue face from a buyer saying the items took two weeks to get to them and that there was no communication, yet we spoke 16 hours earlier and the items were bought right before the long weekend, so 7 non...
