Hi There, If using a computer (instead of the mobile app), on the new look page, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, and click "Desktop Site". This should take you to the old, functional and far superior version of Trade Me where you can bulk "Quick Relist"
Has the desktop site page which displayed the old, original and, most importantly, FUNCTIONAL sold page disappeared for anyone else? Mine has, making booking couriers, seeing what has been paid for etc at a glance impossible. It astounds me that despite all the feedback from users over the last 12 months, developers just do whatever they want and have turned this platfom into a clunky, useless relic
Thanks Gary & Flossy. I am not In Trade, and only switched to My Products because the new changes to Trade Me have made what used to be a simple process- relisting unsold items- very time consuming. I am so incredibly frustrated with Trade Me at the moment
I recently switched to My Products to get around the removal of the bulk relist feature on ended listings. However, I’ve just noticed that My Products doesn’t have the “Allow buyers to make an offer” feature at all…. Or maybe it does, but I can’t find it! So now when an item relisted, I have to manually go into each listing on the app and toggle the Make an Offer function. So basically any time I save my not having to individually relist each item is now spent editing each item when it relists. Am I missing something? The Trade Me platform going from bad to worse?
A bit of a laugh for your Wednesday morning... The buyer ended up buying and paying by Ping before I replied to her question about trying the dress on. I emailed and said welcome to view, not comfortable with her trying on in the house. When she turned up, she insisted on trying the dress on - in the garden! Then asked for a mirror to be brought out so she could look at herself! I relented and said she could come inside, but she was adamant that the mirror be brought out to her. It was the most awkward trade I've ever completed
Thanks everyone for your responses :)
Hello, I just want reassurance that I'm not being unreasonable. I am selling a ball gown for <$150, with a lot of photos and as many measurements as I can think of on the listing. Someone contacted me a few weeks ago wanting to view it before buying. I told her that she should "buy now" and then come to view, and if she didn't like the dress, I wouldn't hold her to going through with the trade. I don't want to put my contact details on a listing as this is against TM T & C, and for privacy reasons. I heard nothing further, have been relisting the item each week, and last night the same pers...
