“While the Quick Relist function is still being worked on” - seriously? It has been borked AT LEAST since August 18, 2024 - that’s over a YEAR! Who’s working on it??? I’m pretty sure you have no idea “who” or even “if” somebody is working on it - so why write this??? P.S. A wise man once said: “Being an apologist means being part of the problem” - was about politics but applies everywhere.
The problem is that the specified shipping can be very wrong. For one thing shipping can change between when you list an item to when you sell it (and the courier does NOT honour Trademe's 'non-binding it's just an estimate' courier quote, for another courier might be more expensive because they use another courier for the last mile (happens usually with Aramex). Therefore I state that I do not know shipping yet.
And why is this marked "answered"??? I really hate what TM is turning into.
Thanks for the feedback - now others know what to look out for … 😉
I had that too. It might show you as logged in, but logging out and back in might fix that.
Thanks
In 20 years maybe 2 people have taken up an offer, so not worth it. Most seem to be others selling or intending to sell the same thing and wanting to know what it sells for.
Thanks. As far as I can tell in-trade sellers have their own Trademe system for selling now, so there should be no problem with implementing it - not that I keep my hopes up the way Trademe ignores all the good advice given on the forums. It also makes no sense to not let in-trade sellers make offers …
The problem is that TM quotes are just estimates, the actual postage can be more. Sometimes couriers raise prices - I once had to pay over $10 more than TM estimated because of that.
What Callum and S say is not quite correct. You CAN still open your old listing (I just opened an old listing from June 8th to test) and click on "Sell Similar" or copy the text and start a new one - just look for the "your auction closed" message from Trademe and click on the link in there.
