Where is "Buyer can make offer"?
AnsweredI might be blind, but is there no "Buyer can make offer" option in MyProducts?
And if I'm not blind then it should really be added. As it is I have to open all my listings and add the option manually which is a PITA.

In the beginning My Products was mainly set up for in-trade sellers. As in-trade sellers also can't use Make an Offer, that could be the reason it didn't migrate across to MP yet?

As far as I can tell in-trade sellers have their own Trademe system for selling now, so there should be no problem with implementing it - not that I keep my hopes up the way Trademe ignores all the good advice given on the forums.
It also makes no sense to not let in-trade sellers make offers …

flossy63 Community SuperuserOn a sellers point of view, a lot of Intrade sellers are here to earn a living, put food on the table, our prices are fixed for a reason, we are not charities, we do not want to get ridiculous offers, some which are embarrassing and just an insult via Q & A's as it is, last thing we need is these people wasting out time with low ball offers hidden from other members,Hence it is designed for casual sellers who are having a clean out etc. who will let stuff go cheaper than their reserves,This was raised years ago on the message boards,0 -
markuswinterEditedSigh. I WAS talking about casual sellers and those having a clean-out or having to clear a household. I wish commenters thought of others before posting. Flossy, if you do not want the "Buyer can make offer" option then leave it OFF - is that so hard to do? Why NOT give people who want it the option?

Hi Markus. The question was "Where is the make an offer in My Products?"
The answer was "Nowhere." You can't do make an offer within My Products.
So the question was answered. Might not have been the answer you personally wanted, but it was answered nonetheless.
