Your listing limit for the fees is calculated based on your last 6 weeks of sales. If you are selling that much, you will find your limit will increase which means you can list more without the fee being applied. As with flossy63, I also use myproducts and its great that you can set it to stop at your allowance and will automatically increase your listings as your allowance increases
Yeh I totally get what you are saying. I get the postage cost advised at the counter by the NZ post shop when I sent them. Most of my stuff is similar sizes so they know the cost anyway. Sometimes it doesnt matter, but sometimes when its cheaper to put it into one their bags I do it - this is especially so when bigger items (normally thicker than 70mm) and sending to the other Island as it can be a lot cheaper
Yes I factor in all those to my postage price but the cost is not the reason I dont use BOC as it doesnt work for me. When I tried using it, the posty didnt always pick up the parcel quickly and I use the walk upto the posty shop as an excuse for exercise. The advantage of this, is it means cheaper postage for the buyer which might sway them to buy from me instead of others = potentially higher sales
123kitchens - the rural deliver surcharge is not changing
Thank you Michelle. These comments are not aimed at trademe at all, but finally some info re NZ post increases, and not even from NZ post.
Some more info is needed, eg what are you currently doing/what step are you getting to?
Thats interesting to know. Normally you answer the question and it will email the answer to the question asker as it has their user details in the question. I dont understand how this can work when there is no question to answer. Do you just put a comment in the auction and does it send that comment to the person who has asked but then deleted the question? How does the system know who to send the answer to? And if 2 people have asked different questions, then how does it know which comment goes to which asker? Im genuinely curious how it works, as I have had the same happen and didnt think...
S - If they have have been deleted, how can they be replied to?
Trademe users can delete their own questions, its a fairly new feature. Ive had it happen to some of my listings too
Ok good to know Im not the only one in this position LOL. Yes the price increase is the reason why I have started to rethink using it, but as I dont yet know the increase in the parcel prices its still an unknown. Added to that is I currently have 2 of these that havent been delivered yet and 1 buyer is understanding the other is demanding compensation. Have you had anyone ask for compensation even though you have had those clear statements?
