go4ret - the changes are being made as the technology used to built the old system doesnt allow for newer and better features to be built on it. It wouldve been better for the site to be released in a final stage rather than with the bugs but thats how trademe normally upgrades things. Unfortunately the old site is going/gone. You have 3 choices - bare with the new site with all the issues it has, use myproducts which is largely uneffected by the changes and has many more advantages, or just not use trademe
"making it less bad" - whats wrong with it? It does mostly everything I want right, reduces time, easy to use and most importantly largely not effected by the changes to the website.

Because you are limiting buyers - there will be some people who will have no option to buy your item if you cannot ship it. If there is an item in Invercargill that I want but they dont offer shipping, there is no way I can get it so yes it does limit buyers. I dont see the problem here. I sell a few large/heavy items with pick up only. I realise most people out of my region wont want to buy it and totally understand. I also understand that some might.
