Leone. You have to remember different types of people have different ways of trying to get a deal which to them is normal. Some feel totally embarrassed to negotiate at all, others think offering 10% of asking price is a starting point. Sometimes its just the type of person they are, or the way they were bought up. Also different ethnicities operate in different ways. Often western culture works on only negotiating a small amount off an asking price, whereas often middle eastern and asian cultures negotiate by putting in stupidly low offers (that they know will not be accepted), but use it ...
In the past TM has indicated you can have more than 1 intrade account as long as the product lines are essentially different and TM give the nod to it. So you could have one business selling mobile phones on one account and gardening equipment on another, but not both selling mobile phones. I guess the situation is completely different though if one person has 2 or more separate companies selling on TM. Of course they would need different accounts as they are essentially different entities legally so would also have different bank accounts and different GST numbers. In this situation it is...
I love the bit about the sellers responsibility to ensure gods are delivered in 7 days. While a seller can order the courier the moment goods are paid for, a/ when the courier actually picks up the goods is out of the sellers control, and b/ How long the courier actually takes to deliver is also totally out of their control. When 7 days is a good guide for goods to be recieved in, in most cases the seller has zero power to enforce it or control it
Lucy, can I ask you a question? Why are MQL listing have no withdrawal fee but an auction does. It seems logical. You will have exactly the same reasons for withdrawing an MQL as an auction, BUT, one is penalised for with drawing, the other not . , that is really not fair
There was also quite a time ago a TM glitch that occasionally showed free shipping to buyers when no free shipping was mentioned at all in the shipping options. Not sure if this is a continuation of that, or a seperate issue/ cause
Hi Callum, are those ishipping rates GST inclusive or before GST?
So what happens where there is no suburb at all that the business is related to. It could be a nationwide online business with no physical location at all
It is not the seller requesting the password, it is TM. You are paying TM, who then pass the payment on to the seller. TM ask you for your password to verify you are the legitimate person using the account
This Character limit also applies in feedback. If you any reason you need to write a long feedback, it lets you do so and then when its posted, the feedback is reduced to what ever character limit TM impose. So you now have a feedback with a load of text missing, and the whole context of the feedback is meaningless as only part of the feedback is showing. Admittedly, its not often I write a super long feedback, but TM need to fix this so the writer can only insert the amount of characters in the feedback that will be eventually displayed on the feedback.
I have found integration with TM and PTP useless. PTP have vast amounts of catagories that are banned from integrating with TM. Most of the catagories are not banned or restricted(as per their banned and restricted product lists) at all, just regular items. So you have to then manually load the data for the parcel instead of going through integration, so the "banned" category still gets shipped but with more effort. I have bought this issue of all these "banned" categories many times, they agree there is no proper reason for it, but continue to leave the banned categories. Very poor follow ...
