Kimberlee-Ann. My best guess here is one of 3 scenarios. Either parcel was delivered to wrong address, and courier driver realising there was an investigation on it retrieved it and redelivered, or the person who recieved it in error contacted NZ post to get it collected and redelivered. Or even (and probably unlikely) that courier had stolen it originally and then only delivered when it was under investigation. But perhaps by far the most concerning issue here is how NZ post can enfatically state it was delivered to correct address when it plainly was not. What measure are they using to ma...
Callum. What is a KP number? Not come across that yet
At the end of the day though, the account holder is accountable for anything bought on their account that goes wrong, both in the eyes of the law and TM,
Siobhan. While not doubting the dent in the heater, how do you know this was deliberatly sent dented (without it being disclosed on listing) . Could it have been damaged on the courier?
Very often, there is one trademe account in a family. So the other members of the family buy on that account , and then communicate further on their own email . While it can be puzzling and annoying for the seller sometimes, I cannot see anything too wrong in that. In fact TM often clamp down if their is more than one personal account in one house hold as they say it can lead to shill bidding, So this scerario maybe the result of TMs over zealous policy an one personal account in a household
Its a glitch sometimes. I get it about 4 times/ year. Not sure if is TM dont send it, or they sent and did not arrive. Also check your junk folder
Flossy63. You are correct, each person has their own way they work and that is fine. I like you, do all my stuff on a desk top as is my preferance. With one exception which is getting questions notification on the app on my phone. I dont use the TM phone app for anything except reciving and answering questions on TM. I have about 500 listings going, and Im away from computer for long periods so its ideal to use the app for timely answering of questions. As most of us know, the seller who answers the question first is often the one who gets the business (as buyers often ask the same questio...
A good way to see questions is to activate notofications on your phone for the TM app. You can then see and answer them through the notification.
While its annoying when something goes wrong like this, I disagree that shipping should be compulsary on Ping auctions. I get lots of pickups that payby ping, so why force shipping on them. In general, forcing ping on people is not a great option. There are quite a number of people who cannot/ no not wish to use ping and so you would loose that business. All trades dont all go smoothly, but its part of the game, and if you are going to be in the game, you need to accept that
Phillipa. You came on here seemingly wanting an opinion on your situation. You have recieved a number of opinions from quite a number of very experienced (their total feed back would be way into hundreds of 1000s) fair level headed traders, but it seems you dont like the advise, so I wonder why you came asking for the advise in the first place unless you just wanted confirmation of your opinion. The traders offering advise do so of their own free will using up their own valuable time to help other traders (as every one here has been helped immensely in the past by other traders information ...
