Hi Megan. How many positives do they have? I have sold plenty of items to people with negative feedback that have turned out to be fine. If the worst happens and they don't show up or pay the usual request fees back, relist, and leave negative feedback applies. If you have safety concerns you can request payment before collection and / or arrange for the swap to happen somewhere other than your address. A local Service station is often a goodie. Plenty of cameras.
Hi Pat, as per my last message use the Contact Us link and Live Chat to sort it out. Using the same Device/IP address to access different accounts or having the same address details etc can trigger a suspension. But yes, with some rules, you are allowed more than one account as long as they are aware of them and you have permission in writing. If you just opened another account without getting the OK beforehand that could be the issue. It has nothing to do with you being a woman........
I just don't understand the reticence to stick with a dying product rather than change to a card that will indeed be accepted EVERYWHERE. If you want to stay with Q there is the Q mastercard. But there are much better options out there now. I get $2000- $3000 in cash back rewards each year by using my bnz visa. I admit I probably use it more than most people would however.
Hi Jacquie. If you still have access to your account (And I guess you do to be able to post here) Change your password immediately. Check for other changes to your account like delivery addresses, payment instructions, bank accounts etc. You might also find items have been listed for sale or purchases made on your account. The link below will go to the email change where you can change your email back. Garry Trade Me haven't had phone support for a number of years. Urgent contact is now made via Live Chat. https://www.trademe.co.nz/MyTradeMe/EmailEdit.aspx
Hi Vincent. You just edit your classified and add them. If it is greyed out you can't. That would most likely be because the 7 day editable time limit is over. How to edit listings is explained in the help file below. https://help.trademe.co.nz/hc/en-us/articles/360052504092-Editing-a-live-listing#Classified-listings
HI Donal. Going forward it would be better to take your photos in landscape view, not portrait. This is the standard way to display pictures on the website and gives a much better result.
Hi Lisa. Try not to worry too much. I know it can seem terrible but it's not the end of the world. People on here still trade successfully with over 1000 of them. Firstly you need to open a dispute for this trade. Secondly you need to ask Trade Me to review the feedback the seller has given you. Hopefully you sent your address via Trade Me (Not just emailed it to them) If you just emailed it yourself that can be a cause of the issue. Always send it via Trade Me. That way you can prove that you sent it, and Trade Me can see from their end that you did as well. Don't worry too much about othe...
For sellers using the shipping templates, which most in-trade sellers do actually have to use, TradeMe ask which courier is being used when a listing is generated. However. For whatever reason this info is not available for the buyer to see. So your idea already exists, in a way. It's just that TM have decided to not make that visible to buyers. Maybe they intend to change it in the future so buyers can see it. Or maybe it's because of difficult people like me it becomes too problematic.
Hi Geoffrey. The problem with that (for me anyway) is that I use a range of different couriers which can depend on many things. Size of item, if they are combining purchases, where the buyer is located, if they have an RD address, even the time of day the purchase is made. I can't easily specify a courier when I make a listing. There is also no way I would want to drive to a depot to collect my incoming items. Apart from the obvious time and financial costs to do that it kind of ruins the whole door to door aspect of why people use courier services.
Hello Shahima. Likely legitimate. I've had a few today from them. Must be a new tranche of scammers out there or a bunch of accounts got compromised. A good quick check (Applies to most emails you get not just Trade Me) They will usually address you by name. Scam ones will not mention your name or just say "Dear customer" or similar. Genuine Trade Me emails will always start with "Hi Shahima" or whatever name you have registered on your account.
