Kia ora ferman, casual sellers pay the Ping fee but will have no success fees, buyers who purchase from casual sellers pay the service fee on purchases over $20, there is information on the tiered service fee here.
Kia ora everyone, I wanted to share an update on Fixed Price offers, I know you've all been missing this feature, so this is great news! As part of upgrading some background systems we have rolled out fixed price offers on listings via our new system. These work a little differently, you’ll have the option to send out an offer from the listing in your Unsold folder, and this will be sent to all your watchers and bidders (excluding any on your blacklist and unauthenticated traders if you opted to exclude them from bidding when creating the listing). Your offer will be available for watcher...
Kia ora greg23 and Callum, thanks for mentioning this, I've passed it on to the team to look into. In the mean time Callum's advice is spot on to have full functionality if having to click on the listing title is just too fiddly.
Kia ora 911mark, this is a bug the team are working on. The listings in your My Trade Me folders are in the order the listing was created, rather than sold which is why they seem a bit jumbled. Sorry for the confusion here.
Kia ora Kirsten, vehicles can only be relisted for free on the site for up to 90 days in total, after that there is a relist fee. If your vehicle has been on the site for 87 days, then you'll only get the option to relist for another three days, and will need to pay the fee to relist after that.
Kia ora Robert, sorry for the confusion. If you started listings on the 15th June you may have ben part of a success fee free promo that we ran that day. As part of that promo Ping and Afterpay were the only payment options available, and the reason you may have buyers paying by Ping for some listings. Ping fees are much less than the success fee would have been at 2.19%. To make things nice and smooth you can set your Ping account to pay out daily so that you don't have to manage adhoc payments when you sell something (it doesn't cost any extra and minimises the hassle). Any unsold listing...
Kia ora larry and Ross, Sorry about the trouble here - our tech team are aware of the issue and working hard to get things fixed up as soon as possible.
Kia ora flossy63, what was the auction number? I'll have a look.
Kia ora, just updating that Multi Quantity Listing is now available for listings on the new system on both the apps and when listing via Desktop.
Kia ora saprema and Community Superusers, an update on this, MQL have been rolled out to our new system, so for listings on the new system you can now provide buyers with the option to purchase multiple items from the one listing.
