  • Trade Me will be unavailable between 01:00am and 02:00am for site maintenance on Wednesday 23 October 2024.   Our team is doing some scheduled site maintenance between 01:00am and 02:00am on Wednesday 23 October 2024. This means Trade Me will be unavailable during this time.We do site maintenance from time-to-time to keep things running smoothly and we’ve scheduled this work to have the least impact on our members.Any listings due to close during this maintenance window will be extended by one hour. We apologise for any inconvenience.

  • We are updating Trade Me to make it smarter, simpler and more powerful.   Kia ora everyone, there’s a Trade Me news update on the changes to the site, which have been talked about a lot on Community.   • This is a heads up about a rate change for Aramex within ‘Book a courier’.   The rate change will be effective from 1 September 2024 for all new bookings, but the shipping cost calculator prices in the listing flow will be updated from 26 August to make sure shipping cost estimated prices are correct on your listing for once the change comes in.    Aramex is increasing its vehicle fuel rate fee from 7.4% to 9%.   From 1 September the following pricing will apply for Aramex:    Very small / DLE bags will start at $4.55 Small bags will start at $5.33 Medium bags will start at $7.76 La...

  • We’ve updated our guidelines to clarify the purpose of Community as a place for peer-to-peer help with specific aspects of using Trade Me.  As a part of our Help Centre, it’s important that it’s easy to find answers to questions across Community and Help together.   • We've introduced Multi-factor authentication (MFA) on Trade Me. Helping our members stay safe online is really important to us. That's why we've introduced Multi-factor authentication (MFA). MFA provides an extra layer of security which can prevent unauthorised access to your account, even if your password is compromised. We encourage all members to enable it.
