Hi, If you mean the 'my photos' in TM, this function stopping working some time ago with the new look trade me. The link between the 2 seems to have gone. I keep my photos elsewhere to upload now. To delete exisiting photos in an auction click on it and you will get a delete or bin it option
Hi. If you are concerned you can click on the link in your auction that says 'remove leading bid'. then blacklist the party by going to your settings in my trade me and adding member to your blacklist. I can understand if their feedback is that bad you don't want any problems. If for some reason you can't remove the bid, contact trade me quickly via Live Chat on the contact us thingy.
In possession means they are here, right now, and you can physically put you hands on them. If the goods are overseas and you are here you are not 'in possession' of them by law. That is the definition of drop shipping.
Try not to stress too much about this. At least you have your money back. The store was honest in that regard. There are many reasons why they no longer have what you purchased. It got lost, (they go to get it in their warehouse after purchase & it's just not there) or they ran out of stock, someone listed in error. Or, with covid they could no longer get the stock? You cannot do anything about deleted feedback, but, like I said before, they were honest enough to refund you. This has happened to me as well, I was glad to have my money back so I could look elsewhere for what I needed.
This shipping being an estimate bothers me. It seems to contradict T & C's where it states the listing must be accurate, keep it honest.....so the instant you buy you have a contract where you are obliged to go ahead and complete the trade. Then the shipping cost goes up? So you instantly have to have complications with the seller, or the buyer, as the case may be, after purchase. And we all want that don't we. How can the listing be accurate when the shipping can be ramped up after purchase? T & C's also say the buyer pays the purchase price and any 'agreed' shipping. Is agreed shipping th...
This should have been fixed so long ago. Happened when they changed the courier delivery options to standardize them. Months ago. We were told, on this message board by trade me staff, if you relisted once the long way they would all quick relist after that. Seems that isn't the case. Infuriating. I cannot find the original post where all this was stated? Probably deleted. Maybe S one of our other community superusers can find it? S is epic at digging out this stuff.
Hi Casrich. Did you get the run an auction box to tick before entering a start price? If not the start price box will grey out and not be able to be filled. It is very odd that it states you have to select ping as ping is now mandatory and automatically filled by trade me. Clearing cache has never worked for me with these issues either. It has always been a trade me glitch.
Hi wazza133. Yep 45 days is the limit. If you have problems with a trade don't bel led into waiting and waiting by any seller. You can lodge a dispute with trade me within 30 days of buying so you can avoid these problems.
Hi Lenuta. No apologies required at all. I hope you find enough info to sort your troubles with relisting. Lots of people have struggled with the changes to trade me in the past couple of years and I meant it when I said good luck! :)
Hi Lenuta. As Callum says we are not trade me staff here. This is the community forum for trade me members. If you need to retrieve old listings the only option is to ask trade me staff via the blue speech bubble. Good luck.
