How to edit Reserve or Start price - not showing (no bids on Auction)
AnsweredThe Reserve or Start price can't be inserted or edited on my auction. I created a buy now but can't add the reserve price. I've only just created the listing, no bids.

You can't change from a Buy Now only listing to an auction once it's started, so best edit it so it finishes sooner, then relist and then change it so you have a figure in the Start price field. You can have a (hidden) reserve if you want or just have the start price in which case it becomes the reserve.

Hello Hayley. As the help file explains you can't change from buynow to auction on a live listing. Your only option is to wait for item to close and change it then (you can edit the end time to speed that up) or withdraw it and relist it.

Hi folks
Is this the same for a classified listing too?
I want put a price with "or near offer" instead of "price on application" but it doesn't seem to come out on the ad. I'm selling a business so it's already cost me 150 to place the listing and I don't want to do anything to jeopardise my listing.
Any ideas?

Hello John. If the option is not there for you when you edit the listing, or greyed out, that's probably your answer.
Normally you choose when you make your listing, like the below picture shows.
Generally classifieds can be edited in the first 7 days only, so if that's passed you will be out of luck as well.

If you can No longer Edit these fields contact a TradeMe staff member through "Live Chat" for assistance, they may have access to this field or they can pass it direct to the right person - If you select the Contact us Link at the bottom of any TM page the Chat Tab will Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your landing page screen, there may be a slight delay in this appearing.Enter in the Chat bot which comes up once the Chat icon is selected - Talk to person - you will be taken to entering your details before arriving at the window to Chat with a Real Person/Staff. - Have your affected Listing numbers in the Chat window enabling the Staff member to pull them up easily.The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 9:30:am - 5:00pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pm- Cheers.1 -
