Kia Ora Jill,
Sorry to hear you're in limbo there,
Yes! you can Apply for a success fee refund
First I would give your Buyer a final email stating you need this Pick up resolved & the item gone - If it is not picked up by (Date) I will have to cancel the Trade so I can Relist the item. - Leave appropriate Feedback once you have the refund from TradeMe & Relist your item.
It is a Good Idea to state on your Listings Pick up in 3days/1 week etc. to deter this from happening coming forward - All the Best - Cheers.

I’m having this issue now. Auction closed last Sunday afternoon, highest bidder was somebody with -1 rating 😭 and I followed them up with payment info; they advised they’d pay by Weds; I advised I’d need it is if for by Thurs am (today) and it’s not paid for and no contact. Annoyed as I gave plenty of other buyers and I want to sell to one of them - who have great ratings and wouldn’t be time wasters. I want to advise the buyer the trades not going ahead due to no payment and I want to contact the next highest and offer it to them. How to do that? CAN I do that…??

Buyer hasn't been in touch and annoyed with the lack of communication. I need to apply for a success fee refund, but don't seem to be able to find the "New Look Site" where the info "if the sale falls through". Frustrated still!!

Kia Ora All,
Yes! TradeMe have recently changed a number of Members to the New Look site which hasn't as yet got all the Usual Features come across with it - In this case you can find the old site which retains the Relisting & Applying for your Success Fee by going to the very Bottom of the Desktop site page and selecting the Desktop link, then make your way back to the correct page if you aren't automatically taken there.
If you are using the App & cannot find a link back to the Desktop site type TradeMe.co.nz in your Device Browser to go to the Desktop version - It is likely you may still have to select the Desktop link at the Bottom of the page to get back to the previous version.
This is Not ideal but is a workaround which is helping many Members to achieve this in the interim. - The Desktop link is hard to spot in fine print.
- Cheers.

Kia Ora Kate,
TradeMe allow Members 2 days to make contact & 7 days to complete payment. - If you are still in limbo with your Trade have you checked your spam/junk folder incase your Buyer's email went there? - If you had messages enabled it would pay to check there also - this is a common mis-connect between Buyers & Sellers. - The next step would be to place a friendly feedback letting them know you have emailed several times, please check their spam/junk folder & make contact with you. - feedback can be changed after the Trade is sorted though only the once.If you hear nothing after the 7 days apply for your success fee refund which initiates an email from TradeMe to your Buyer, asking if they intend to complete the Trade - TradeMe will either refund your success fee within 3 days so you can Offer a Fixed Price Offer to your Other watchers Or Relist the item(s) - Or you may even hear from your Buyer.New Buyer's have to be given the Benefit of doubt starting out - we all started at 0.All the Best - Cheers.0 -

Kia Ora Ben,
Sorry to hear you're still waiting for your Buyer to Pick up their goods,
Email your Buyer stating you need the items Picked up as the space is required for other use - If they are not picked up by (Date) I will have to cancel the Trade and refund your payment so I can Relist them otherwise you will be charged the cost of storage fees. - If the date of pick up you give passes send a second email stating you have cancelled the Trade and require their Bank account details to refund - you can possibly get your Bank to reverse this payment if this wasn't purchased via Ping or Afterpay, both of which you can refund yourself onsite. - Apply for your Success fee refund from TradeMe and Leave appropriate Feedback. Once you have the refund from TradeMe and have refunded the payment made to your Buyer you can Relist your items.
It is a Good Idea to state on your Listings Pick up in 3days/1 week etc. to deter this from happening coming forward - All the Best - Cheers.
