Selling a car - relisting fees
AnsweredWould someone please tell me, if a car is listed under auction and doesn't sell, is there another fee for resisting? I'm trying to figure out if iras best to list or auction it.

Hi Wendy, you can relist a car auction as many times as needed without paying a fee again, within 90 days of starting your listing. If you need longer than 90 days, there is no fee for relisting as a basic listing - there would be a fee to relist if you select a standard or premium listing bundle

How do I relist my car? I dont want to start a fresh listing and add all phots and info again. Its a waste of time. I am happy to pay again.

Hi Sunny, because it has been over 45 days since your listing closed, you would need to start a new listing - you can copy and paste and the details from your old listing though. For a hand with the fees, reach out to our friendly Customer Experience team

I have currently a car for sale - original listing 10 July / premium listing - I am away for 3 weeks shortly - can I have a 3 week break before relisting it again without repaying?

Car listings can be renewed for 30 days within 45 days of closing.
Only Basic listings have free relisting fees - A reduced renewal fee applies for Standard and Premium listings.

I listed a vehicle on TM and ended up spending several hundred dollars with you and within a few days a dealer suggested they had a buyer and I needed to end my listing with TM. I agreed to do this but found out that was not the case and here I am wanting to relist. is there a sympathy card I could buy of you for $1? I think i paid $750 from memory. I guess you can identify me from my login? regards

This is the community forum you are on here, we are members of TM just like yourself - we are not TradeMe staff. This community forum is in place for all members to help each other where we can - You can give TradeMe "Live Chat" a go to get immediate assistance with this.
The "Live Chat" hours are weekdays are 8:am - 6:30pm and weekends 8:30am - 4:pm
Once you've selected the Contact us Chat Tab you need to give the landing page a count of 15+ seconds for the Chat Tab to Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your screen, there is a slight delay in this appearing. - Cheers
