Ping Payment

S Community SuperuserEditedKia Ora Jeff,No! your Seller doesn't need to set up a Ping account, everyone has a Ping account Preset - If your Seller can see your payment in their Ping Statement Transactions they should be sending your item(s).You can Refer your Seller to view their transactions here Ping Transactions & they can obtain further help with how to manage their Ping payment(s) here Ping account - Cheers.EDIT: - if you copy & paste both highlighted Links to your Seller they will view their own personal statement transactions when they are signed in and the Ping account shows them how to setup & transfer payments to their Bank account if they would like this option rather than leaving it in TradeMe to help with TradeMe Listing fees & purchases.0

Im sure its only possible to offer ping if you have a ping account registered. Probably the seller made the account sometime ago and did not use it and forgot about it. On the desk top if they go to "My trademe, and look down the page to "my accounts", they will see the ping account to the right side of the TM account. On the app, they click on "my trademe" on bottom menu bar. They click on profile and account. In the balances section you can see the ping balance. Click on it and in the first section you can see transactions line which you can click on. This will then bring up all the ping transactions. Hope this helps

TradeMe have Ping auto ticked as a payment method now on all New Listings created - Sellers have to untick that box in the price & payment page if they don't want Ping as an option. The Ping Payments sit in a TradeMe Ping account for the Member until such time they register a Bank account to transfer this payment out to if that is what they want to do - Otherwise it is used to Top up their TradeMe account or to help pay for purchases - Cheers.
