Phone Number is wrong!!!
The contact number emailed to sellers/buyers is different to the one registered on my account. The last digit is incorrect.
What is causing this?

Sound like you have the wrong number maybe in your payment instructions email Curtis. This is the only place your phone number is that could be emailed to buyers. Go to your my trademe page and you can edit your payment instructions.

Thanks Gary,
I thought it was too, but it's not in there at all. It's when I purchase something and it sends the wrong phone number.
I've checked my account settings, and the number is correct. Any other ideas?

Cheers Curtis,
And you have input the phone number(s) using the prefix fields? - just wondering if prefix entered with the Landline or Mobile number field it's not able to pick up all numbers - dropping the end digits?

Hey, yes the prefix is selected correctly under mobile number, and it has the correct digits in it.
TM has sent two emails now with the last digit being incorrect. So bizarre.

It really depends what is incorrect Curtis. Has it dropped off a number, or added a number, or changed the last number? A lot of people often forget to remove the 0 when inputting to a prefix +64 eg 02123456 becomes +642123456 although that shouldn't be a problem with the Trademe 020 021 etc prefixes.
Also check your physical address and email address as if these have an apartment number or flat number with a \ rather than a / that can break the TM formatting in other fields.

Kia Ora Curtis,
How have you got on checking your address details there? - if everything is set up correctly it would pay to contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" so they can take a look into what's happening there - you will have unique information staff will want to help with investigating your account and what is happening for you - Cheers.
