Getting negative feedback from a non-paying bidder
AnsweredI've recently had a few non payers.
I make a point of sending emails, then after a month has gone by I register a complaint with TradeMe so I know they get my phone number.
Once TradeMe has refunded my fees I leave negative feedback.
Today I received negative feedback from a 'buyer' (and I use the term very loosely) who won 5 auctions over the space of a month then, after promising to arrange collection disappeared.
I sent multiple emails before registering complaint, and then an email just after to give the person the benefit of the doubt.
Today they left me negative feedback, but worded it as if I was the buyer.
I need the feedback removed.

Hi Trevor. A common problem and easily solved. Just follow this link to report the feedback. If everything as straight forward as you make out here Trade Me will remove it for you. Read through the article then hit the "File a report" link at the bottom.

I have given the buyer 2,3 options ti pick up goods and it hasn’t happened.
He has then got really abusive and yelled at me on The phone . I then canceled the sake as he scared me . He then text he was going to kill me . I am shaking ! This is is not good !0 -
I can’t get the correct or any options ti get through to someone at trademe !

Hi Sarah. That sounds like something you need to get the Police involved in. That text is completely unacceptable.
To contact Trade Me use Live Chat. I always forget the hours, but I think it is staffed from 10am weekends
Go to contact us and hit the blue bubble on the bottom right. Then type "talk to a person" to get a human online

Great advice from Callum Sarah, - Report to the Police asap.
The "Live Chat" with a TM Staff Member manned hours weekdays are 9:30:am - 5:00pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pmDon't respond to any correspondence or answer further phone calls from that person until you receive official advice from the Police & TradeMe staff.0
