Where do you find the delivery instructions that you supply a seller at the time of purchase?
AnsweredThe title says it all. I can find everything about the trade, except the delivery instructions I supplied to the seller (through TM) at the time of purchase..

Hi William. On desktop. Items I won. Right side of the page. If the blue Delivery Address link is there, you have sent them. You can also click it to see exactly what you sent.
On app (ios) click the auction from your won page. There will be a green tick in the delivery address field if you have sent it. Again, you can click it to see what you sent.

Clicking on the 'Delivery address' link only gives me the address I supplied to the seller. It does not show the delivery instructions that I sent.

Purchases made through the Cart option show the Delivery Instructions in the Cart Confirmation email you receive from TradeMe as well as in the Closed Listing of individual Cart items. Currently this is the only place you can view these Instructions.
You can email your Seller to enquire of the Instructions they received - If you are in dispute with your Seller you will be best to contact TradeMe staff through "Live Chat" for assistance with this, they should be able to track your Delivery Instructions for you - Cheers.

So are you saying that if I don't use the cart option I cannot access the delivery instructions I send the seller.
Ergo, buyers should always use the cart option even if only buying one item from the one seller.

I can only view the Delivery Instructions I send to Sellers if I use the Cart option - I cannot see this view on any auction in which I haven't used the Cart - Even multi purchases from the one Seller without using the Cart - Buy Now's nor Auctions - I don't know what the plan is/was here though I agree with you - We should all be able to see a view of the Instructions we send - Perhaps this is being developed still - In the interim TM staff should be able to track this where needed - Cheers.

At the risk of pointing out the blatantly obvious, would it not be logical for TradeMe to make all transactions go through the 'Cart'.
That way the buyer will have access to the delivery instructions they send.
Bear in mind the 'delivery instructions' are used by buyers (at the sellers request) to state sizes/colours of the item(s) they have bought.If the seller screws up and sends you the wrong size/colour (as happened to me) you have to trawl through, and jump through, all of TradeMe's hoops and drop boxes just to get to talk to human being. Then I'm told "In the interim TM staff should be able to track this where needed - Cheers."
A link to someone who could help would be of help. I still don't have the delivery instruction info. Nobody from TM has yet supplied/ told me how to get it.-1 -

You can contact TradeMe staff through Live Chat for this assistance.
The "Live Chat" hours weekdays are 9:30:am - 5:00pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pm
Once you've selected the Contact us Chat Tab you need to give the landing page a count of 15+ seconds for the Chat Tab to Pop up in blue at the bottom right of your screen, there is a slight delay in this appearing.Have your Listing number entered into the Chat window so the agent can find it easily.The Cart option is designed to work with Ping payments - it's not set up for Afterpay, Internet Banking or Cash payers therefore not available for all Trades. - I'd like to think development of this info' required is in the planning and not far off - Perhaps you can ask staff when you get a hold of them through Chat.?1 -

How about you ask on my behalf and post the reply here. It will be far quicker, and less TM staff involved.
Here is an exercise for you. Please show me, in the least number of steps, how I can get access to the delivery instructions sent outside of the 'Cart'. No links to more drop boxes please, just a simple flow chart, to talk to a human being, to get the info I need.

I am a Member just like you - I am not TradeMe - this Forum is in place for Members to help each other.
I have given you clear instructions to talk to TradeMe staff through their live chat - Yes! this is the only way to connect with a staff member one on one with No other drop down forms to fill out and send off then await a reply - Connecting to TM Staff one on one through Chat is a real staff member answering you then and there!
