High Volume Listing fee warning?

Yes Danielle, there is a warning on the new site when listing individually, ie on the last page before you confirm any fees, there is a note advising the HVL fee. There is also a message on the old site when using Quick relist feature. It doesn't stop you from doing it, but does give you a warning.

Hi Danielle if you use My Products to manage your listings in the settings section there is a option to select to not exceed your listing allowance cap (see the screenshot below) so you will never go over your set listing allowance therefore will not incur any HVL fees. My Products is free to use and has several handy features for sellers I recommend you try it if you ain’t already.

In my experience the HVL listing fee us charged to your Trade Me account at the time when you create the listing that has exceeded your limit you can confirm this by checking your account statement for the fee here 0 -
Thanks! That’s a shame I used quick relist on the new site and wouldn’t have relisted if I’d been warned. It kind of sucks to get charged when I was only over for a couple of hours until a few more things closed. It was only about $1.50 though, I’m aware for next time

Where is the quick relist on the new site Danielle? I don't see it in my unsold folder. I only see it on the old site, where you do get a warning.

On the new site it’s only on each unsold auction’s page when you click through from your unsold page, you can only do them one at a time

Ahh, yes I see. The Quick relist has a different meaning on the new site vs the old site. On the old site you can select several and click on Quick relist to list them all in one go, in which case you get the HVL fee message, where on the new site if you click Quick relist after using the relist option, you don't get a fee warning. It's a bit misleading and they should give you a summary of fees to9 confirm like it does on the old site. Unfortunately many features have been dropped from the new site so I try and use the old site wherever possible.

It’s definitely one of the flaws with the new site. I used to use quick relist on the old site all the time but it’s pretty inconvenient on the new site. I do sometimes use the old site, but I mostly use trade me from my phone and the screen is just too small for it to be usable. I think there are probably a lot of people in the same boat as me who can really only access trade me from their phone
