Tracking not updating
AnsweredHoping someone can help.I posted a parcel with NZ Post on the 31st July.Took it to the local Post Shop and got a tracking number.However when I look it up it says only that they have received it but no updates.Asked at the post shop yesterday and they have the same information.I emailed the buyer and he hasn't received the parcel yet.What is my next move and do I just wait a bit longer?.

Hi Gerald. Yes, nothing really too unusual there. Just sit back and wait.
Especially so if this is standard Economy Tracking (not courier.) In that case often all you get is that initial scan, then a delivery scan with nothing in between. Economy tracked is exactly that. An economy version. So you don't get the speed and extra tracking detail you do with full courier.
You probably only need to get concerned if things still haven't seemed to move after about 10 working days.

Yes! This caught me out on first experience also - Callum is right onto it for you. I handed a parcel in over a Post collection agency and although given a Tracking number I couldn't track it's progress online - I find these ones are delivered to urban addresses between 3 - 5 days - that's pretty good going these days - Cheers.
