Ratings on DVDs
AnsweredIs there an article with guidelines around what ratings system needs to be displayed on the DVDs or Games you are selling? I have some items with the typical NZ rating system but also some using PEGI.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

For DVD unless it has a New Zealand classification label you simply can't legally sell it in New Zealand. There are a few exceptions around the General label. For things like natural history videos, scenery, exercise videos and docos that are exempt.
Games are different. You can generally sell them with overseas classification labels if they are G PG or M. Restricted games need to have the NZ label.

Thanks, Graham. Yes, looks like the website has had an update. The new website doesn't explain things as well as before in my view, however I've updated the link.
