Feedback links not working. Can't check sold info.
AnsweredI have recently won and paid for something, with as is common, no contact from the seller, so thought I'd check their feedback which is over 99% to verify delivery times, ie the date difference between when auctions closed and when feedback was placed, but they don't make sense. Heaps of $1 res listings sold and feedback there saying delivered, but clicking the link in the feedback page on the majority of them shows listing as still running and accepting bids? I know this is what happens with multi qty buy now only listings that are still running, but std res met auctions should show the close time. On closer inspection the listing I am being directed to is a new listing with a different listing number than the link.
Unfortunately the seller never places feedback so I can't check those to compare.
I even clicked on the feedback from someone else from 6 weeks ago, and it takes me to the item I purchased with my purchase summary.
Anyone else seen these problems? Makes it hard to do any research on a seller's trading history and service.

Hi Gary, thanks for that. I've just done a test and it isn't happening for me so it will be interesting to see if anyone else replies to say they've experienced it also. Apart from the status of the listings, does anything else appear to be wrong - for example, is the listing from the same seller for the same item or something entirely different?

Hi Lucy. When I click a link from a sellers feedback page eg
https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=3446331186
it takes me to a different listing ie for the one above to here..
www.trademe.co.nz/3461934943If I paste the first link as above to a new private window even, it still takes me to the different listing.
A different seller.
feedback link
https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=3456770496
takes me to
www.trademe.co.nz/3462336764I can click on other feedbacks from those sellers and they take me to correct sold items, but many take me to wrong links. I can consistently repeat the same results.

EditedThanks Gary.
Clicking on the link from the feedback page redirects you to the latest relist that the seller has done of that item. This is deliberate rather than an error, so a potential buyer can see the live listing rather than an expired one from where they wouldn't be able to take any action. This is what is happening with both of those examples.
If you are taken to the sold item details rather than a live listing, it will be because there has been no subsequent relist.0 -

So how do we now check the time from auction sold to buyer feedback to gauge delivery times and what bids and from what members were placed? and as things can be edited during relist to something completely different, how can we check what was actually bought as the relist may be for something completely different?

I understand what you've used that for, but a feedback/delivery time verification process like this isn't what the feedback system is intended to be used for.
Another consideration is that someone could wait weeks before leaving a comment - or at least outside of the same day that they received an item - so there wouldn't be accurate or reliable data to take this reading from.
When there is an issue with something not being received in the time you'd have expected, the process is to contact and the seller or file a report.

Oh ok. Might pay to remove the clickable link then from members feedback pages as it's quite misleading having it there, when it's not actually what the seller sold or the buyer bought and placed feedback on, unless they bought from a MQL as that doesn't change.

Yes it's done this redirecting stuff for a while now, I can see the sense in it, but it can be annoying if you want to check from the feedback exactly the details of what was purchased.
However, you can plug the listing ID into bidbud to get the actual listing without the redirection...
For your first example...
