What is a "Reversed Payment" on your bank account?
AnsweredYea ok, it's a slightly cheeky title but currently having this discussion with a buyer.
He's also sent me a copy of the deposit slip which clearly shows the money going out (money out, bill payment) & then reversed (money in, Reversed Debit).
BUT, is still asking when his parcel will be sent

Money out, reversed to money in = no payment made. Reversed debit is a bit different to a Credit, but it effectively means there was no change to the balance as money was taken out, then the same money was put back in, so no payment was made.
What shows in the buyers bank account is their concern. What shows on your bank acc is your concern.

LOL yea I know.
Trying to get that across to the buyer that he needs to make a fresh deposit while making sure he has the combo of enough funds and the correct details.0 -
Another reason to accept only Ping and AfterPay

Lucky you did not send it off,I have had only one when I used to sell on ebay to Spain bought an item for US$75,paid by Paypal & reversed by the bank the day after I sent it off,Ping is the best way to go I do not think they can reverse it on Ping.

Apparently ALL electronic payments via ph banking can be reversed same as credit card payments & NFC/swipe payments
They all have a 'cooling off" period0 -
Ping is basically paying by credit card. Pretty sure your bank can reverse these payments.
