How to stop notifications please relist your item
AnsweredIs there any way to stop getting notifications for buyers wanting fixed price offers or wanting you to relist your auction. These are just so annoying and such a waste of time. Why do I need to be told to relist my item?, because in my experience relisting your item is never purchased by the buyer asking for a relist.... they are just saying they don't want it.

I usually use my email filter, so I don't have to look around in TM, that config might not even exist...haha

I did try looking at the settings, i couldn't find a way to unsubscribe from those two notifications, its not so bad on my personal account but on my intrade account... there can be screeds of notifications. that really almost always serve no purpose. People wanting fpo's seem to want them at about $1.00 :-)

You can't turn off those notifications, or emails, but your email program filters can be configured to send those to trash, or a special folder for you and you can block the notifications panel on your My Trademe page so you'll never see any notifications at all, but that might block some you do want. I have them all blocked and just use emails myself.

Where it says Notifications.... they come in on my phone and my desktop and my e-mails, if i click on notifications, they bring them up. to be clear if an item is sold i need to know, i don't need to know someone has placed feedback... or doesn't want to buy an auction so tells me to relist it. maybe its helpful to some traders, but i generally can organise myself to relist my items, if you can show me where to tick something to stop these I'd be very grateful, i've looked in e-mail settings and can't find anything.

If you see my post a few up, yes, you can remove notifications altogether from the menu list on the left of your My Trademe page using a browser adblock. I have mine hidden using Ubolck origin, so my side menu looks like this.
