I can't change my email address to a previously used email address on Trade Me.

We had 2 accounts on Trademe. One had my email address & the other our business email.
We removed the business email from the other account. But we cant change the one with my email address to the business email address. It says that the email address has previously been used on trade me.
How do I get around this.

What is the error that keeps coming up Celeste? Does it say something like.. that email address is used for another membership, or something like that? Some clues might help in giving some suggestions. Also, it would be worth trying to change one thing at a time, eg change your email address, then once that's sorted, then change your password, or visa versa.
