Bad buying experience
Someone sold me a car that was meant to be fine other then a crack in the windscreen I got that replaced and took it for a wof to find out if I had been driving it one more time on the motorway I would have been killed as the breaks are gone

Did the car have a WOF when you purchased it?

No because it needed the crack in windscreen to be replaced for it to get one

To be honest it's always a bit a gamble buying a vehicle and even more so without a warrant. I feel for you though.

Yip sorry about your ordeal but at the end of the day they may not have known that the brakes were almost shot.

Any care I have bought has always had an AA check- sorry you had a bad experience but if they aren't a dealer then really it is buyer beware or you get what you pay for!

It sounds like you might not have read through the Trade Me car buying guide. Purchasing a car without test drives or getting an appraisal is always a risky thing. https://go.trademe.co.nz/buying-a-car
