I've SOLD my listing but I'd like to CANCEL the trade with the buyer

The time for buyers to ask questions is BEFORE placing a bid. Once they have won the auction, it's up to you if you want further discussion, or not. Not sure if it's a pickup item or if it can be shipped or if they have paid or not, but suggest you say to the buyer that you have advertised it to the best of your ability and that you are not able to enter in to further discussion. The item is as per the listing, and if that's not what they wanted, then we can cancel the trade. Don't get in to emotional discussion, just keep to the facts. If they still want to go ahead, then give them a deadline for payment, if not paid already, and stick to it. Once that date has come, go in to the auction and request a refund of the success fees and when that come through (normally after 3 days), relist or fixed price offer to other bidders/watchers.

Also, I haven't sent my payment details to the buyer yet, so NO payment at this stage.

Oh, I'm sorry! I've found your message just right now :)
Thank you so much for your 'very helpful' advice, I really appreciate.
I've spent so much times for the buyer's inquiries already, I feel this conversation for ever...
If I couldn't answer the question straight away the mails keep coming... :(I think that she would be keep contact me in the future, too..
I've already told the buyer I've got enough, I'd like to CANCEL the trade.
But... she is still want it. :(I feel NOT safe the buyer so...
Could you please CANCEL the trade?
Also refund the success fee please?Thank you so much for your help.

I'm nothing to do with Trademe, so no point asking me to do anything. I'm just another member like you.
There is no ability for anyone to cancel a trade ie there is no cancel trade button.
If you do not feel safe completing the trade, what you can do is, as mentioned above... go in to the auction and request a refund of the success fees and when that come through (normally after 3 days), relist or fixed price offer to other bidders/watchers.
After the refund comes through, you may choose to Blacklist the buyer so you don't run in to this problem from them again, (put blacklist in the search box up top to find instructions). You should also place feedback, but stick to the facts.

Hi Yuka. Once you've mutually agreed to cancel the trade with the buyer, here's how you can apply for a success fee refund.

OK, Lucy thanks I'll do that. But I prefer 'emails' because it's getting more privacy details.

I have tried to apply for a fee refund as the buyer has bought elsewhere and let me down with a buy now listing. I cannot contact Trade me through the refund process as it says no purchase reference can be found and takes me back to the start of that process. How can I get some answers from Trade me

Hi John. The usual way to apply for a success fee refund is to click in to the listing from your sold page, then go to the section: If the sale falls through
- You may be entitled to a refund of your success fee.
Clicking on that link gives you options to choose from. Is it there that you are getting the purchase reference error? The purchase reference number is the P number associated with the sold item.
