Buyer did not contact - more than 45 days ago so can't process refund request
AnsweredHi there,
Recently I sold an item in August 21, that buyer did not reply, did not follow up until now due to lockdown. Success fee has been deducted, however I found my selling history has been removed that I am unable to proceed refund procedure, please help. I wish to relist and get refund for success fee, thanks

Hi Annie. Your sale and purchase history on Trademe is cleared automatically after 45 days, so there is no link to it now. Best to contact Trademe and explain to them and they may be able to refund your fees. You can't relist directly after 45 days but you can go to the sold listing and copy and paste the details in to a new listing, but you'll need to reload photos. You can find the sold listing via the links in your emails when it sold, or pop the listing number in the search box, or find it via your Trademe account as success fee details are kept there, although if you've sold a few things it may take a while to find the listing number there.

Hi there again, received your response regarding i can contact trademe, however there is NO email address i can write to as the selling history has been removed after 45 days, which i do not understand why there's such policy as this causing problem for our refund procedure as there's no button i can push as this original transaction do not shown in " SOLD" listing

Annie - keep an eye on your inbox. I've sent you a message about this since it sounds like you're having trouble.

We would like to inform you that for the order and the buyer we would like to refund the order cost but since the order is 45 days old we are unable to see the order status in sold orders. So we would request you to please check and refund the order cost from your part to the customer so that issue can be resolved.0

Hi Amit, easiest thing to do in this case is to ask the buyer for their bank details and do their refund via internet banking. Other than that' you need to contact Trademe to ask them to do it for you, if it's possible.
