Trade Me Tip – Scheduled end–times are free for My Products users

Would be really great if you could also choose a day. 

The only way to choose a day is if you know what day today is, work out how many days to go till the finish day you want is, then change it to that number of days. Do it once, then activate, do it again and change to 7 days and it will stay on that day, unless of course it's a single auction listing and it finishes with Buy Now sooner than scheduled. If you had 10 though and you listed as a MQL (Multi quantity Listing) you could do like I said and your item would sell away merrily and stay finishing each time it lists on that same day you chose.

You can also directly edit a listing created by My Products to then choose the actual end Day and time eg you could choose Tuesday 9:15pm, and you won't be charged the 25c scheduled end time fee. You can choose any day and time without the scheduled end fee as long as it's inside the 10 day limit from when the original listing was created.

Today I was charged a scheduled end time fee for a product I listed via MP when I went to edit the live listing. I do this all the time, but today was charged a fee for it. Have emailed TM about it, but might pay for others to check if you happen to see this.

Update. I have done some testing and this charge happens if you have set the product to list for a set number of days and have no scheduled time set. When you then edit the live listing and change the close time, it charges the scheduled fee, which it shouldn't. I passed this bug on to TM who hopefully will fix it, but in the meantime, make sure to set a close time in any products before activating, if you intend to edit once listed.

no way to bulk edit times i'm guessing

Angela, if using My Products, then yes, you can select several products, click Bulk edit and specify a time to close. You can also do it individually, or you could export/edit/import if you wanted to stagger listings etc.
