You can not start/edit a general listing from the website.

I keep trying to start a general listing for a wood chipper in one category, but I keep getting a 500 Internal Server Error. If you start a listing on the app, you can't edit the listing on the website? Am I missing something here?

Listings in this category (Business, farming & industry > Farming & forestry > Forestry > Wood chippers & mulchers) are a bit screwy. They haven't yet migrated to the new system on Desktop. When I do a test listing in this category on Desktop I get kicked out to the old listing process. I'm not sure why you were getting a 404 error though. Perhaps trying a cache / cookies clear might fix that.
If you have managed to make a listing on the App, it's possible you will have to make any changes/updates on the App as well, rather than desktop. Have you tried that?

I see you've managed to list a chipper, if this is the one you want to edit on the Desktop site though aren't able to follow the website troubleshooting Help file below... to ensure your device is running the latest updated version and clear your cookies and cache - there are further steps to check like if you have an extension or ad' blocker running, if you have a vpn running you will need to disable that for the TradeMe site. - You can run a search in the top of help pages, including this one, for the App troubleshooting Help file to ensure your Device is up to date. - Cheers.
