In this new version we suddenly have permanent problems with two new issues

Hello nat47. Yes the inability to change category is a known issue, and mentioned in the help file for things currently not working in the new system. I wasn't aware of the photo issue before. 

If you wanted to look into My Products, Trade Me's free listing tool, you could solve both of those problems. You can edit categories on there, and add and change photos easily. There is a small learning curve and if your items have been created on the new system you will have to recreate them within My Products. You can import your current listings into the My Products system to see which will transfer through for you automatically if you wanted to try it.

Kia ora nat47, can you give me a listing example where you've been limited to only adding a small number of photos at a time, so I can pass this on. Also were you on the desktop site, which browser do you use? Or were you using one of the apps? Have you tried the troubleshooting tips, if using desktop try the app and vice versa, update app or browser version etc.

My Products is part of the Trademe website, not a separate app. You go into My Trademe at the top left to see your stuff, and look in the left panel - the third item from the bottom is My Products. I recommend using it even for casual sellers like you and me.
