My products - incredibly slow

All skipping along really good for me tonight. Perhaps even faster than usual. I've long ago given up on working out why sometimes it's slow, sometimes it's fast. It's usually a sign to go and make yourself a cup of milo, or rum 'n' coke, take half an hour off and try again later. 

Sometimes the usual  reset / restart / clear cookies /cache can help. Sometimes not. But always worth a try. 

In terms of searching, I find if its more unique its faster. Eg if you want to find say "The Shape of You", id just use shape. I find if you add the other words it can take longer.

Thanks , I generally find it very quick. I’ve made no changes my end and it’s now back to its usual speediness.
I’m convinced it’s not at my end when it slows down, as the performance is the same from different devices, and the same when connecting via two different ISP’s.

Usually very quick, but sometimes what should take a few seconds, sits searching for several minutes. I also can’t refresh the page, even if I leave my products and go back to it, it starts searching again as the same search query is still populated in the search box.

Yes it's always struggled with searches. Like AJ I try to keep any search terms short, to a single word if possible, but also unique. I also know if my search term is going to get a lot of results that will usually take a while as well.

I got so frustrated one day when it was on a go slow that I added some unique nonsense words to specific items so I could find them faster with a single search term. Of course as soon as I spent the time to do that search came right again.......
