Paying off a Negative Ping balance 

We’ve made it easier to pay off negative Ping balances. From 18th August 2026 you can make partial payments via Manage Ping. If you have a negative Ping balance you can now choose to top up and pay either the whole amount or make partial top ups, to bring your balance to $0.00.

If you’re asked to top up when making a purchase, you’ll have to top up the full amount.

To pay back a negative Ping balance, you can:

• Add money manually: Go to Manage Ping. Below your negative balance, select Top up, and enter the amount you’d like to pay. You can clear the whole amount at once or make partial top-ups over time to pay it off in instalments.
• Wait for another sale: If someone buys something from you through Ping, we'll automatically use those funds to pay off what you owe.
