Do I need to go through with a sale if the buyer broke trademe rules during the sales process

I haven't really listed a lot on trademe in the past, but I'm disposing of my childhood lego collection that had been sitting under the stairs for decades. I've had a buyer trying to negotiate prices with me in the Q+A. They said they'd pay a specific price and then offered less then this on a number of items. I now understand it is against trademe rules to do so.
The were aggressive in making multiple repeated offers on my listings to the point where I had to remove the ability for all buyers to make offers. I suspect their account may be being used by younger persons as the account has very solid user feedback and a lot of it and this behaviour seemed as though it would be uncharacteristic of the account.
They haven't paid for the items yet, but I'm concerned that they may not pay at all. Am I within my rights to void the sale and re-list if they don't pay or make contact within the next 48 hours following my initial email to them given they've breached trademe's guidelines in the sales process?

So no, you can't void the sale until that week is up. Unless you had a different timeframe for payment stated on the listing itself.

Do you mean they purchased it then are refusing the price they bought it for?
If so absolutely you can cancel. The price they pay is the price they hit the buynow on, or an offer you accepted, or the closing price at the end if it was an auction. If they are trying to pay less than those then yes you can cancel.
Otherwise, there is nothing really to report to Trade Me or any reason to cancel.

AJ Community SuperuserIf you would prefer not to deal with them on any current live or future auctions, you may want to consider adding them to your blacklist. That will mean they can no longer ask question or bid on any current or new auctions you list

Sorry to read of your experience,
You can report the Members behaviour through selecting the 'Community watch' at the very bottom of any listing they may have running themselves, if they don't have any you can select the blue speech icon bottom right of your screen page to leave your report in the bottom line of the window, allowing staff to take a closer look and note the account. - Cheers.
