What's up with shipping options atm? Please say it's just a short-term bug...
Anyone know what's going on with shipping?
Usually I can just click "sell similar" and list a new item while keeping all the same settings. But as of today I have to redo the shipping options from scratch for every new listing, which gets mighty slow and tedious if you have a lot of items to sell...
Please someone say this is a temporary bug and not another "improvement"....

Yes! TradeMe have upgraded the shipping structure, once your Listings have been relisted with the new structure they should go through fine on a second relist or "Sell Similar" however there is a known confirmed bug in play on relisting multiple items which is being worked on. - If you strike this bug you may want to keep an eye on the following Post which possibly could be updated by staff as the issue is resolved...

Hi keripete. Check out the other post below as well. This has been happening for a long time. Someone I know has not been able to quick relist multiple auctions for months. So they are downsizing number of auctions as it's too much work listing one by one.

I wish they would just push out the "new trademe" when it is finished rather than landing us with this broken patchwork mess that may or may not be fixed sometime in the sometimes short and sometimes long and sometimes never future.
If there was a trademe-old . co . nz I would go back to using that in a heartbeat to avoid the frustration that we have been stuck with for the last, what is it now? couple of years?

My Products is TradeMe's own free Listing tool for both Casual & In-Trade Sellers to use, it runs on the original Desktop site largely unaffected by the current changes and comes with additional features like the ability to Auto Relist and send FPO's plus listings don't drop off the system at 45 days. - You can't import any products that are listed through the New System, a copy & paste of info' into a new My Products listing will be a quick option though if your listings are still on the old platform these will import over. - There's many experienced Members in the community who use the listing tool who have a wealth of knowledge & are happy to help other Members through, you might like to check that option out under the Selling tools help file. - Cheers.

Interesting. I have a that shipping issue ongoing too. When I try to relist multiple unsold listings an error message comes up saying something like "Cannot relist. You must enter shipping details for each listing". Yet, these have shipping already selected (and correct). If I go 'Quick Relist' on just one listing, it relists immediately. Go figure. Have reported several times to TradeMe, but no responses, other than things like "Our system is being updated. A few minor issues have been reported. Try using MyProducts". Not a great roll out for sure!

Kinda wild that the solution to a broken website is using another app/plugin till it's fixed instead of proper QA and launching it when it's ready. A lot of the bugs I've run into over the last couple of years while this "upgrade" is being rolled out should have been caught before release as they have been obvious to anyone who actually uses the site (not to mention they stick around for months so should show up on someone's radar at some point), currently it very much feels like the people doing the coding don't actually use the site and there's no one downstream from them that does before they push the go live button.
