Does the Trade Me App now override My Products?
Does the Trade Me App now override My Products? I have just had the most bizarre experience. I uploaded some additional photos to a live listing via the App on my phone and the result of this is that the new photos uploaded into the listing and it dropped my shipping options and updated the payment options to include cash. The live listing on the website shows these changes too.
However, the original listing created in My Products on my laptop, does not show the new photos, has the shipping options and payment options as per the original listing. I have refreshed my browser, so it is a site problem.

Thanks L. My problem was different to those described in that post as I wasn't logged into My Products on mobile. I just edited the listing on the App and normally if I do that it will update My Products as well. Last week towards the end of the week the App had an upgrade, so I am wondering if this is a permanent change or a bug.
I ended up reloading the photos via My Products on laptop and updating the active listing which also fixed the dropped shipping options and removed cash as a payment option.

Hello flossy21 Never to my knowledge has making any changes either on the App or on desktop to individual auctions changed them on My Products.
My Products runs completely separately. Think of it like a spreadsheet or different website. If you want changes to happen on My Products, you need to make the changes on My Products.
So you must be mistaken that you thought previously changes made to live listings (but not within MP itself) also updates MP

I've made changes in the App before Callum, and never had it override the shipping options originally created in My Products or the payment options in the live listing. It might be the way I have worded my original post but the shipping template and payment option of only Ping have not changed in My Products, but when I added the additional photos in the Trade Me App to the live listing the shipping options disappeared and were completely replaced with shipping to be arranged and cash as a payment option was added.

I think the issue you've described is the changes you have made have not done any changes to MyProducts, but it's "just" changed (overwritten) the details in the live auction. Changes made on live auctions dont change whats in MyProducts.
However, it shouldnt be changing anything else in the live auction, you might need to report this as a bug. I have seen many posts recently about shipping option issues, so maybe its related to those?
