Has anyone else discovering that TM are deleting shipping & size, brand etc
when you relist an item?
It such a pain to put shipping on as it's so clunky! I didn't think you were allowed to list things without a delivery price with Ping payment?
Also to add a brand to clothing as list is so long & it shoe brands & clothing brands, but no Summit shirt brand for Men but it has one for Womens!
Trademe used to be so easy to use a few years ago & now it's hideous!

Hello mme.
I'm sounding like a broken record probably, but the brand selection on My Products is pretty nice. It will jump to the brand you want when you press the first letter of it which cuts down searching the list a lot. Best of all if your brand isn't there, you get a custom field where you can add your own.
Yes, unfortunately it is still possible to list an item with no shipping specified. Hopefully this will change down the track, but there are some sellers who are resistant to it. Especially if they have larger items with multiple and complicated shipping options.

I also sound like a broken record. Many sellers are listing their shipping prices in the auction details section, not the shipping section to avoid fees.In fact many state they require the buyer to pay by bank deposits only, not by ping so are telling the buyer to choose the cash option only.Makes a mockery of having ping there for buyer protection if a buyer isn't allowed to choose the option ?

Kia ora everyone, thanks for raising these points. I've passed on the brand suggestion to the team. We are working on the shipping options, some listings that have been created in the old system are also being moved over to the new system, the shipping options for those often need to be updated for the new system, but that should only need to be done once for each listing. You can also report listings via Community Watch where you see sellers avoiding fees or advising buyers to use cash only, buyers should be able to choose to pay by Ping and be covered by Buyer Protection.
