Problems Edit and listing items

Hello snowrose. No particular problems noticed here.
Perhaps some more details would help troubleshoot.
You say it won't set you list an item? Are you getting an error message? Are you listing on the App? Desktop?
A screenshot of what is happening can be helpful.

yes I'm having loads of trouble listing stuff, theres no option for combining courier cost any more, only 1 photo is uploading at a time, if you go back a page when you are listing something, everything you have already put in is lost, plus more stuff

Callum no error messages. This started a couple days ago. Prior it was fine. Bookworm that’s exactly what’s happened support askedjfor scene shot but it all disappears. Very frustrating. Go to edit it jumps all over the place then you have to start again. Go to start auction it won’t let you then disappears.

Actually all morning it let me start one auction. After that zero.

I put a post up yesterday with everything that has been amended/gone wrong with the site since Friday (it has now been deleted - by TM I presume). Feels like they switched on an update then went home for the weekend. It's so bad I'm thinking of finishing up with TM after 20+ years of listing.

All I can do is recommend you use My Products. Trade Me's free listing tool.
This has many advantages over the standard way of listing. Perhaps best of all you can complete everything on one page, without needing to click through multiple pages.
There is a very small learning curve, but once you're onboard you will kick yourself for not doing it years ago.

Thank you Callum I will check it out but it shouldn’t be this hard to list. Trademe must be losing a lot because of it. I persevered and managed to list a bit yesterday. I did notice a yellow exclamation mark where you write the description this has never been there before. B

I have looked at My Products once again and it just does not do what I want, the old Trade Me was fine, the post I put up on Saturday with all the issues has been deleted by someone, Trade Me is broken for me so I will be doing final listings, then no more.
I have noticed that the In Trade a/c of a family member still goes to desktop and is easy to operate so the changes must only affect casual sellers.

Kia ora ninook, we are gradually moving things over to the new system, it sounds like that is what you are experiencing. The new system does work a bit differently and there are some features that are temporarily unavailable on the new system, the team are working hard to get the changes rolled out. Some features are available only via the desktop site, so if you're using the app and the feature isn't there, try using the desktop site. There are lots of people on Community who use My Products, and they are very generous with their time and knowledge, if you want help to figure out if it can do the things you need it to.

Hi Michelle - I don't and will never use the app as I prefer a large screen which I can actually see. A phone screen is way too small. You say use desktop site, but it won't always switch over. As I have said in my post, I don't want to use My Products as it doesn't fit what I want. I have been using Trade Me since almost the beginning, I have been using computers since the 1980's (including testing programs) so I do know my way around things. It just seems that Trade Me, like many other sites, are intent on catering only to those who use apps on phones and tablets and are forgetting about the rest of us that are still using laptops/desktops.
Here are just a few of the issues I struck over the weekend: you can no longer go to desktop mode, you can no longer do bulk feedback, no more boxes for tracking number, layout is harder to read, no red flag when someone places bid, no select all for bulk relist, on selling page the drop down box for items with bids, unanswered questions etc defaults back to all items when you go to page 2, as does the unsold page when you use items offered or items that can be relisted options. once you do a relist instead of going back to unsold page you have to hit my trademe, then unsold, then items i can relist then scroll through the pages to find the item you want to relist. The sold emails you receive are now different and you can no longer hit reply to go back to buyer, reply sends back to trade me. Probably plenty of other wrongs that i haven't found yet.
Some of these have changed back to original but others haven't and I am guessing there will be more changes.
