Hi Michelle - I don't and will never use the app as I prefer a large screen which I can actually see. A phone screen is way too small. You say use desktop site, but it won't always switch over. As I have said in my post, I don't want to use My Products as it doesn't fit what I want. I have looked at My Products once again and it just does not do what I want, the old Trade Me was fine, the post I put up on Saturday with all the issues has been deleted by someone, Trade Me is broken for me so I will be doing final listings, then no more. I have noticed that the In Trade a/c of a family member still goes to desktop and is easy to operate so the changes must only affect casual sellers.
I put a post up yesterday with everything that has been amended/gone wrong with the site since Friday (it has now been deleted - by TM I presume). Feels like they switched on an update then went home for the weekend. It's so bad I'm thinking of finishing up with TM after 20+ years of listing.
Just tried on some of my listings that have expired with watchers. If you use the desktop site option the names are displayed. If you are not using that option, you should have two choices - all watchers or selected watchers. If you choose selected, then you see the names and can choose who to send to. Unsure what options you get if only using the phone app, which I don't use.
Hi Linda - I'm on my fourth over a 2 year period and hoping it stays working as I have run out of options Linda a few seconds ago I now have 2 email addresses that will not receive any trademe emails, waiting for to try the 3RD email now
Yep, this is happening to me again also and I have a lot of auctions about to close. I had this happen a few months back and went through all the rigmarole of checking the TM addresses and ensuring they were whitelisted etc. Even changed email address again, but that hasn't worked this time.
Sometimes I have given stupidly high FPO's to watchers as I just want them to go away due to them being serial watchers who have no intention of buying the item regardless of the price, be it 50 cents or $50. These are watchers that have been watching every time an item is listed for years. Even after they have been blacklisted for being stalkers, they still watch. Yes, I treated them as genuinely interested buyers to begin with, but after they didn't respond to FPO's and continued watching, it got old very fast.
