Notifications and everything else that doesn't work now???
Hi all,
Is anyone else not getting notifications of sales on their devices?
Also not being told in emails that the transaction is complete either. Ie person has paid ping. Have to go in to Ping to check.
Also tried to change the category that I had listed an item in and it wouldn't let me.
Also what's with the tiny box when you add your discription. You can't see everything you've written until you go back and read it once your listing goes live. When you do try to add something in that you've missed or thought about you often end up deleting what you wrote already, which is beep, beep annoying.
And don't get me started on the postage!!! Why on earth would someone choose individual areas of NZ to send their items to??? either it is in the North Island or South Island it is Urban or Rural???
So much of what they are doing doesn't make sense.
Come on TM! Your service is good but your site is becomming difficult to navigate again. Are you experincing technical difficulties or is this the new you???

Im not having those issues, but one of the reasons why you have individual areas of NZ is I can send items "across town" in Auckland for a different price than North or South Island

Hello pixiwillow. Probably need some more details on your issues to answer correctly. I'm not experiencing any of these issues either.
How are you listing? App? Desktop? Listing tool?
Screenshots are helpful as well. Not sure what you mean by a "Tiny box when you add your description"?
To answer your question about changing categories. Sometimes you can't. This is because different categories have different fee structures.
AJ has given you a good answer about why people require different regions for shipping costs.
You should be getting Ping notifications via email though.

Yes having the same issues, im not getting any ping notifcations via app or email, cant change category if ive listed something wrong, people are saying to me they are clicking delivery but its saying that its a pickup, i dont think that is human error as Ive never had this hapoen before now its at least 1/4 of sales

Kia ora simony1, the issue you're having where buyers are are clicking delivery but its saying that its a pickup sounds like a bug, I've sent you an email for more information. Due to the changes we're making some features are temporarily unavailable for some listings, including Ping payment notifications and changing categories. For now you'll need to check your sold items for payment. The workaround for changing categories is to withdraw the listing and create a new listing from scratch in the correct category.
