Feedback, is there a cut off point?

I don't remember their being an automatic feedback % rating that triggered Trademe to look and take action, but there used to be an auto thing once the member reached a rating of -2 overall, but that doesn't seem to be automatic anymore either as have seen plenty like that.
Best thing is to contact Trademe and alert them to anything that looks bad as they don't do that sort of thing themselves.

The cut 'n' paste reply I get from Trade Me when I report members with bad feedback usually mentions 95%. However obviously the percentage is hugely determined by the number of trades a member has. A couple of negatives on a trader with only a few traders will have a very low percentage.
******Thanks for taking the time to pass your concerns on, I'll be sure to take a look and follow up as needed.
We do expect a feedback rating of at least 95% positive as this allows for those few times that real life throws a spanner in the works, or for the odd slip up when a trader is new to the site.
So if things fall below 95%, we'll generally give someone a heads up about best practice trading. More often than not that does the trick, but we certainly do place account restrictions or close accounts where members are not contributing positively to the trading community. Thanks again for letting us know about this member, you can leave it with me to follow up on our end.

Hi everyone, we do review complaints about members' feedback, and take action on accounts with repeated poor behaviour. If you notice a member you feel should be looked into, let our Customer Experience team know

Hi Sonia try using BidBud to manage your Trade Me listings it has a feature called Auction monitoring where it will inform you if anyone with negative feedback bids on your auctions (does not work for buy now listings) and you can set it up to remove those bidders automatically for you and blacklist them so you don't have to deal with them refer https://www.bidbud.co.nz/about

Thanks SJ that’s helpful. I have used Bidbud in the past but didn’t know that was an option. I contacted trademe support and they were great actually. Well immediate response, back and forth. They said they will look into the member. So That’s all I can do. I’m now waiting for the obligatory “retaliatory feedback”. Now that I’ve left her negative feedback, she’s got 50% positive. What a horror show. You’d think she would be too embarrassed to participate in auctions anymore. Haha although that’s naive. TM certainly highlights how some people have zero respect for anyone and absolutely no conscience.
