Option to Edit has Dropped Off

Hello ferman. How are you trying to edit it? Desktop? App?

What are you trying to edit? 

Some things in some categories you can't edit, some are time dependant, and some are function dependant. You can't edit items with bids for example. 

Thanks Callum. I had posted a response with answers to your questions this morning but it's either dropped off or didn't submit. 

Either way, TradeMe support has come back to me to say it's a bug & they've passed it to the team to look at.

It's affecting quite a few of my listings under the business, farming & industry category & it's both old & newly advertised listings, none of which have bids. In regard to trying on the mobile or desktop sites, I'm switched constantly anyway but when I try to switch between sites myself, I'm still directed randomly. So I could only try editing from the mobile view.

Thanks for coming back with the result you've found a Bug in the system - that's so helpful for other Members who may query the same.

Our comments often go into a Pending status which needs to be cleared by a moderator. - Triggers can be certain words or phrases, links to help & site pages etc. - Sometimes it makes no sense why this happens Lol. Once a moderator has checked the comment and cleared it you will see it appear - this can often result in several Members responding with same/similar info' and can look quite odd to others who come across the Post with repetitive answers. - One way around this is to take a screenshot of your comment and paste it into a comment window until the original is cleared. - Cheers.😊

To keep this thread updated, I got my request re-opened this morning as it was marked as resolved at some point & the issue hasn't been resolved. TM have offered to do the editing for me, but I have found another 26 listings that cannot be edited. 

I was randomly directed to the desktop site this morning for one of these listings & I was able to edit it. So it definitely seems to be affecting the mobile site. Hopefully TM can find the fix.

My TM request was closed again saying it was solved. It's not solved.

This morning I created a brand new listing & after listing & viewing the live listing I saw that a random photo (that had nothing to do with the item I'm selling) from a completely different folder on my PC had been added to the photos of my item. 

No option to edit so I had to withdraw the auction. Once withdrawn, no option to sell similar & no option to relist. 

These constant bugs & changes are so very frustrating. Please for the love of all, can we just go back to how it was before!

Kia ora ferman, sorry this issue is ongoing for you, I realise it's causing a lot of frustration. The team are looking into this bug, so even though your request is 'solved' work will be going on behind the scenes. 

These comemnts were from 7 months ago but the probelm is still there. Come on TradeMe - give the sofware gurus a kick?
