how to get account help without tautoko
For whatever reason tautoko won't connect, no matter what I try. Does anyone know how to contact trademe for account help without the bot? I just instantly get the bot offline message over and over again and have every time I've tried over the last few hours.

Callum Community SuperuserYes has been messed up for a couple of days. Random wrong times coming up and "offline can't reply" messages. All I can suggest in the meantime is to keep trying. You might want to try the usual hard reset or cookies/cache clear.
Alternatively you could ask your question on here. There are people floating around with good general Trade Me knowledge.

I did try but the answer I got was to talk to the bot

Yes, frustrating. Hopefully it is not urgent that you close your account and you can wait for the bot issue to resolve.
There is another option. At the close your account help page. If you scroll to the bottom you will see a "Contact Us" link.
Click this and it will bring up a page with some details to fill in. You add your bank for any outstanding credit and there is a tell us more form. You could try using that to explain that you want to close your account but the 'bot method isn't working.
