Changing a property catagory
AnsweredLast week I listed a property as a villa in a retirement village but no one can find it when they search.
I noticed other homes in the village came up when searching but they were catagorised as a house.
The property is a stand alone house in the village so it does fit the house catagory.
My question is, do I get charged another $380 listing fee if I withdraw it now, a week later to change the catagory?

S Community SuperuserKia Ora John,Yes! a New Listing will incur a New Fee.Your New Listing fees will change with a change of category, each category has a different fee structure.Refer to the Help file: Property fees – Help - Trade MeYou're best to contact a staff member directly who may help you with Listing fees so you only pay once for your Listing. To contact a staff member directly for assistance if you select 'Contact us' at the very bottom of any TradeMe page the Live Chat Bubble will Pop up in blue at the bottom Right of your Landing page screen, enter in the Chat window Talk to person below the Bot text suggestions, next to the paperclip icon, to be transferred through to the staff line. - Enter your Listing number in the chat window also, enabling staff to pull it up readily. The Live Chat manned hours weekdays are 8:00am - 5:30pm and weekends 9:30am - 4:pmAfterhours you can leave a detailed message through the same path and a staff member will email you back during manned business hours. - Cheers.0

Hello John. If you can't change it yourself (greyed out) then yes you will have to either withdraw and relist or fix it up when it closes.
If you withdraw and relist then, yes, you will get charged the listing fee again. However you can ask Trade Me to reimburse that. Ask before you withdraw it though, so they can confirm that.
Also make sure you have a copy of description and all photos, as these can disappear when you withdraw.
