Package left for courier pick up went missing
I sold an item and booked the courier - suffice to say it went missing before the courier could collect it. I sent my buyer a replacement. I'm now out about $100 for the two items and the two lots of courier bookings, can anyone help me?

Hi Deborah.
If you mean you want to claim a refund for the courier costs you can try that. Not sure if it would be successful, it would depend if the courier actually came to try and collect the item? (Costing them.) I'll add the link below, scroll down to cancelling a booking which explains the fee refund process.

Kia Ora Deborah,
I'm Sorry to read of your experience,- How do you know the parcel was stolen?
- Do you have a Safe place setup for the couriers?
- Do you use multi couriers & if so were multi couriers picking up parcels from you that same day?
Otherwise your option is to inform your local Police. - Whilst it may seem pointless one never knows what has been reported beforehand and possibly you are not the first in your area to have experienced this thereby assisting with a possible theft trail here for the Police investigations. - Anyone in your area, your neighbours may have a CTV Security system which has possibly caught these parcels being uplifted which can help identify if it was a different courier company perhaps?

Mines gone into pending as well. Seems to be getting worse. Anywhoooo if you mean how do you claim the courier costs back, you can go to this link from Trade Me.

I had 6 go missing overnight when I put them out for the courier. They got booked and then never scanned (so were stolen). Because they had never been scanned into the NZ Post system, they cannot do anything except refund the postage. You'll have to report the stolen package to the police. Sorry this happened - it is very frustrating.
