Blacklist and Feedback

I have 2 questions. Firstly....when you blacklist a trader, do their listings NOT show up on a search? I know they cant buy but what about the other way round? If i click on a listing where I've blacklisted the trader, does a message pop up to alert me? Secondly.. we can edit feedback once. Does the trader get notification if one of their feedback has been changed?

I also just noticed our first name is posted here rather than our user name. When did that happen? Not sure about that

Hello Sandy.

No, if you blacklist a trader you still see their listings on search, unless you use bidbud to access the website.

No, you are not warned if you place a bid or buy from a seller you have blacklisted. There used to be a warning, but not now.

No, you are not told if feedback is edited.

For the name thing this happened about 5 months ago. Initially they actually added first and last name. Oopsies. This was swiftly fixed luckily. You can read more about it, and how to change it below.

Thanks Callum. Well thats annoying re the blacklist. I dont want to buy from a trader (bad experience). My memory is terrible so im not going to remember a few months from now.
Im really not happy with that. Blacklisting should work both ways. Not just blocking a trader from buying.

Our Username hasn't appeared on this new Community Forum, it has always been our Member (first) name - the reason being we aren't allowed to identify Members in the forum Or use the forum to advertise our accounts/items for Sale. - As Callum has advised, there was a breach in our surnames being viewed which was resolved. - The Post Callum has Linked for you explains how you can use a nickname/alias in the Community Forum -

You can use the 'Tell us what you think' Link on the New Look Desktop site to express your concerns about the Blacklist warning no longer appearing when you mistakenly go to purchase from a Member you have blacklisted - these reports go direct to the teams responsible for this part of the site. - You can report any issues you have using the platform through this. - Cheers.
