Option to use CV uploaded to account, but not a cover letter, but account shows cover letter uploaded
Issue: when applying for jobs CV is readily available, but generic cover-letter also uploaded to account is never present, resulting in multiple uploads of the same file
unsure if bug, intended behaviour, or something I haven't thought of

Kia ora Philippa, sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. Yes, this is the way the application process is designed to work, when applying for jobs through the site you do need to upload a cover letter every time, there isn't an option to have a saved one there for adding to applications.

Why does it keep them uploaded on the account tho?

It would remain uploaded as a template I would imagine - Many applicants will be wanting to tweak their cover letter & depending on what type of job is being applied for. - Cheers.
